The I.O.U Society was formed in response to an indefinable service gap in our community. The lower Sunshine Coast is under-represented and under-funded in its ability to provide programming opportunities to a variety of individuals. It is the goal of this society to be the champions and the administrative foundation to bring innovative learning experiential opportunities to our community.

This society of experienced professional community leaders have collaborated their expertise to be the administrative and creative foundation for innovative projects. They are volunteering their time and expertise to mprove the social and economic welfare of the lower Sunshine Coast. Youth are our first target group and the Young Documentary Filmmakers program is the society’s first local programming initiative.
